CSI: Chapel Hill

Trying to solve the problem of what exactly happened to your budget over the last year? Interested in identifying the suspects? Want to make sure that you never have to go through all of this again? Check out the fall “episode” of CSI: Chapel Hill. This year's conference theme is Change | Strengthen | Innovate – CSI: Chapel Hill. The conference may not solve all of today’s challenging problems, but an exciting group of sessions will provide best practices and innovative ideas to make your job a little easier.

This year’s conference has been streamlined to a single day; therefore please note there will be no Dean’s Dinner.

Keynote Speakers

  • Deil S. Wright Lecture: Patricia Wallace Ingraham, founding dean of the College of Community and Public Affairs at Binghamton University, will present "Change. Think. Innovate." A public policy expert and accomplished academic researcher, Ingraham has also taught at the Maxwell School of Public Affairs at Syracuse University.
  • Michael Munger, chair of the Department of Political Science and professor in the Departments of Economics and Public Policy at Duke University, and former director of the Carolina MPA program, will present "Lessons from the Campaign Trail," about his 2008 run for governor of North Carolina as a Libertarian candidate.
